How does Guess the Soccer Player work?
One footballer a day and 15 attempts. Era, an opening fact and a free example start you off. The club city appears after 4 misses, and at 7 you receive one more exact fact and the option to open the answer. Each guess lays down a comparison row — deep green exact, green close, gold similar.
What do the feedback clues mean?
The day's comparison is scoped to one role — position, era and team, plus HON for major honors and LED for league-leading seasons where they appear — since a striker's numbers say nothing about a keeper's. Once the board names it, every guess is measured on that role's real season figures. Exact turns deep green, close green, similar gold, and an arrow shows whether to aim higher or lower.
Who can the answer be in Guess the Soccer Player?
Footballers with real top-flight careers across the major European leagues and the international game. It is a curated lane, so the answer is a name the sport is known for.
When does the daily player reset?
The player changes at midnight Eastern — teatime in England, late night in Europe — and everybody gets the same one for that date.
What is shown on each player card?
One real season: position, club city and years, with the goals, assists or clean sheets it actually produced, and honours where the record carries them. Ratings never appear.
Can I play another sport?
Yes. Try Football, Basketball, WNBA, Cricket, Baseball, College, Hockey, Aussie Rules, Golf, or draft the same archive in the Daily Challenge.
